The 4th Annual RCC & YMCA Peace and Love Summer Camp
539 left-behind children participated in our summer camp. Our staffs and volunteers created a safe and structured environment for children to spend a good time with us.
Nepal School Reconstruction Program
The Rotary Club of Chengdu donated funds in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Shanghai towards a Global Grant project to help rebuild schools damaged by the earthquakes in Nepal.
RCC Heifer Water project
RCC implemented a project to bring drinking water to a remote village in Laha Village, Liangshan, Sichuan by installing water piping needed to carry water from distant river.
Winter Blanket and Shoe donation
RCC purchased blankets and shoes for poverty-stricken people living Lianshan, Sichuan Province. This donation was carried out by RCC members who delivered the items just prior to the arrival of winter 2017.
The Leprosy Project
RCC donated RMB100,000 to fund the health and care of people residing in areas of Liangshan known as the Leprosy Villages. The funds will be used by the Hong Kong South Rotary Club to enable it to continue its excellent programs, it started some 20 years ago.
Qionglai Organic Farm for Disabled Children
Approximately RMB90,000 has been raised and set aside for this project to benefit children with disabilities. RCC is currently evaluating the method by which to continue this project with the project partners in Qionglai.
